For a long time in at least North American offices, the only people who got breaks outside of the lunch hour were those who smoked. Today, workers are wanting more. Companies are beginning to experiment with various ways to give their employees more flexibility and the chance to breathe during their workday. This company apparently wants their employees to really enjoy their workday. They are now providing masturbation pods where employees can take 30 minutes to truly, uh⊠unwind.

This forward-thinking company has decided that this could help their employees be more productive while at the office. They have introduced custom-built masturbation pods to the office. The company in question is an adult website and social network Stripchat. The company has 200 employees and the four pods can be found in their Cyprus office. The âw*** podsâ are fully outfitted for the best masturbatory experience. This includes an Oculus Quest VR headset and a 4k LED screen for watching x-rated films, as well as lotion, lube, and tissues.
âWe Want Our Employees to Feel More Relaxed At Workâ
The company says that the goal of these pods and the 30-minute masturbation breaks is so that employees have a space to relieve some stress. After all, work can be stressful and sometimes hard to stay focused. Their idea is that this will give the employees the break they need so that they can re-focus and stay on-task better.
â[We aim to] provide current and attract new employees with a safe, comfortable space to rub one out.â the company said.
Stripchat, however, wants to share the love. For a fee of $50,000 for six months, they will lease out the pods to other companies who want to give this type of break a try. The lease will include a VIP subscription to Stripchatâs platform.
Theyâre Not The First Ones
While there certainly arenât hundreds of companies out there offering masturbation opportunities for their employees while at work, Stripchat isnât the first to do so. Erika Lust is the owner of a 36-person adult entertainment company called Erika Lust Films. Last year, during the height of the pandemic, she noticed that her staff seemed quite agitated. This was affecting their work, so she came up with a solution: A maturation station. (2)
âWith the pandemic and the huge shift in how we live our lives, I began to notice that my employees had become somewhat agitated and were performing with less energy than before,â she explained. “So, knowing that there’s only one thing that will make everyone feel good, I’ve set up a private masturbation station for them to enjoy.”
Her staff are allowed a 30-minute maturation break each day. She says that she values her employees and wants them to feel good and happy while at work. Happy employees who feel good, she says, do good work. Her employees were all quite pleased with the setup.
“Picture this: a team of happy employees with their creative juices flowing and being productive because they’ve had some time scheduled to make themselves feel good,â said Cat, head of communications and content. “A masturbation break at work can result in more focus from your employees, less aggression, more productivity and better teamwork.”
Iâm sure not every company will allow this type of break time activity in their office, the pods do bring up a good point. If we want employees to be happier and more productive at work, we need to provide them with comfortable spaces to take a break. Whether this is just an upgraded break room or itâs leasing one of Stripchatâs masturbation pods – weâll let the CEOs decide.
