Mike Tyson thinks he’s going to die ‘really soon’

Mike Tyson has a podcast called “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson“. In a recent episode, Mike spoke about a few philosophies that he felt the world should understand. Moreover, he had a guest star on the show to whom he told that he feels he is close to death.

Mike Tyson says his “Expiration date is coming close

The podcast, “Hotboxin with Mike Tyson” has become the ex-heavyweight boxing champion’s playground for expression. He uses the platform to talk about the many philosophical thoughts he has, and there are many. Paul McFarland was invited onto the show. He is a specialist in addiction and trauma. It was during this episode that Tyson revealed a rather gloomy prediction that he is close to death.

To clarify, Mike explained that he sees spots on his face, that show he’s getting older. So much so that he has questioned how much life he has left in him. “We’re all gonna die one day of course,” said Mike. “Then, when I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face, I say, ‘Wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon.’”

Mike Tyson did not reveal any official health concerns as he chose not to elaborate any further on the matter. Before this heavy revelation, Mike spoke about money. He feels that those who come from less fortunate backgrounds strive to have more money, but it will never give them the satisfaction they think it will.

I always tell people: they think money’s gonna make them happy, they’ve never had money before — when you have a lot of money, you can’t expect nobody to love you. How am I gonna confess my love to you when you have $500 billion?”

Money is a “false sense of security”

Mike Tyson then spoke about the fallacy he believes money is. “The false sense of security.”You believe nothing can happen. You don’t believe the banks could collapse. You believe that you’re invincible when you have a lot of money, which isn’t true. That’s why I always say money is a false sense of security.”

Furthermore, Mike Tyson gave a comparison to put things into perspective. He said that “What is security? I don’t know. When you put money in your bank and you get a check every week and you can live for the rest of your life, is that security?”

Mike feels that people are not seeing the bigger picture. According to his words, people think that money can protect them from anything, but they could not be more wrong. there are many things that money cannot keep away from you. Life has an inevitable way of getting to all of us. “That means you won’t catch a disease, you can’t get hit by a car?” said Mike Tyson. “You can’t jump off a bridge. I don’t know. Is that security? Can money secure you from that?”
