Texas Man Offers Elon Musk 100 Acres Of Free Land To Move Twitter’s Headquarters

With Elon Musk purchasing Twitter, a lot of events have taken place simultaneously. A man from Austin has recently offered Musk free land. This land could be used to relocate the headquarters of the social media platform. If, and only if Musk decides to shift his headquarters from San Francisco to Texas. With the social media platform accepting Musk’s offer of $44 billion for the company, things have started stirring up. One of the latest developments was Greg Abbott. The Governor of Texas went on to invite Musk to move his headquarters. Incidentally, it would join the three other companies that Musk has in Texas.

Could Twitter Relocate Its Headquarters To Texas?

Recently, Jim Schwertner, the CEO and President of Schwertner Farms made the offer of land. “Elon Musk, Move Twitter to Schwertner, TX. 38 Miles North of Austin in Williamson County, and we will give you 100 Acres for FREE.” As mentioned by Andrea Guzman, Schwertner has been the supervisor for close to 20,000 acres of land. He also believes that this would give a good boost to employment opportunities. Incidentally, if headquarters were changed, this could develop the state even further.

Speaking to Austonia, Schwertner stated, “We think it’s a good idea, especially when you’ve got Samsung coming to Taylor. I mean, this area is exploding and we want to be part of this explosive growth.”

Twitter isn’t going to be the first social media giant with Texan headquarters. Other social media companies like TikTok and Meta have also instituted their headquarters here. Three of Musk’s companies- SpaceX, Tesla, and The Boring Company have their headquarters in Texas.

Speaking about Musk, Schwertner mentioned, “I just think with all the stuff he’s done, he evidently likes Texas, right or he wouldn’t have moved from California. And I want to be part of his plan if he’ll come visit with us.” Currently, Musk hasn’t commented anything about Schwertner’s offer. For now, Twitter Wednesday has been witness to free speech on the platform. Also, Musk has been commenting on the activities of SpaceX. Hence- business as usual.
