‘Vampire’ house for sale with ‘terrifying’ wine cellar leaves people speechless

A £2.7 million (approx. $3.78M USD) vampire house has been listed on Zillow [1] and people are going nuts.

To answer your first question, yes, a vampire house, you read that right. The five-bedroom Salt Lake Country house has been listed as a ‘premier luxury estate.’ However, instead of talking about the house’s luxurious nature, the internet just can’t get past how its interior looks like it should be home to, well, Dracula.

The five-bedroom house, located in Salt Lake County, Utah, is on the market for $4.8 million and is filled with cathedral-style windows, dark stone, and a spooky subterranean swimming pool for people who either don’t enjoy the sunlight or, perhaps aren’t able to stand in it without bursting into flames. Oh yeah, and the wine cellar not only looks like a dungeon but also looks like the perfect place to house a coffin or two”  [1].

Of course, this home isn’t actually home to any real vampire, at least… that we know of. But it truly does look like something straight out of a horror movie.

I mean, just look at this dungeon-esque decor in the entertainment rooms. The grey stone walls paired with the wooden and metal-barred doors are the perfect combination for the hairs on the back of your neck to stand up!

Would you live here?

I have to admit, although this five-bedroom house really isn’t my style, it’s still pretty cool. I mean, of course, it is still a luxury house after all. What I love about this house is its character. Most houses, including mine, look relatively similar to all the houses around them. And to put it in simple terms, this house is sure to catch everyone’s eyes and stand out against its neighbors’ more traditional style homes.

When I was looking through the photos on Zillow, there was one room in particular that completely changed my mind and got me thinking to myself, ‘hey, maybe living in a vampire house isn’t so bad after all…’

Check out this room in the ‘Vampire house’ with an indoor lagoon pool

I think I speak for most people when I say that this room is the fan-favorite. First of all, having an indoor pool that you can use all year long is amazing in and of itself. But the cave-like theme actually gives it this certain Je ne sais quoi that makes you feel like you’ve escaped the town and are relaxing somewhere a little further away from home.

The creepiest room in the vampire house

Okay so, this room is probably the most vampire-themed in the entire house. This wine cellar seriously looks like where bats go to sleep at night. Interesting choice of decor if you ask me, but obviously someone had to love it.

A Twitter user shared pics of this ‘vampire house’ and it went viral

It’s easy to see why this house blew up on Twitter. Its cave-like appearance resembles the house in Transylvania we all envisioned Dracula living in. But unlike an imaginary vampire house in Europe, you can actually make this Utah house your own. I mean, if you’re into this type of thing.

Another Twitter user replied comparing the photo of the wine cellar to a penitentiary she toured in, of course, Transylvania.
