Police are on the lookout for a rather distinctive-looking man in the UK. The man who is missing half of his right ear is wanted in connection with a ‘serious offense’ according to authorities. He should be avoided at all costs. Dale Poppleton aged 41 is from Bradford, West Yorkshire in the UK.
The man has been labeled an accomplished criminal in 2020 when he was originally sentenced to 3 years and 9 months in prison for burglaries. The number of convictions will astound you. 99 offenses, 19 previously convicted, many for matters involving dishonesty. Those numbers are tremendous and it’s rather shocking that he’s out and about right now.

The man is described as a white male of medium build, standing at 6ft1 tall
West Yorkshire Police have come forward and said: ‘He is very distinctive due to the fact that he has half an ear (right side). He is thought to have connections to not only the Bradford area but the North of England. He was last seen in East Yorkshire. Extensive inquiries have been carried out to locate Poppleton but he is deliberately evading Police.’

There has since been a sighting in Leeds
Armed officers were deployed to Leeds Railway station, accompanied by a National Police Air Service helicopter after it was reported that he was sighted nearby. Despite a lengthy search, he was, however not found. Members of the public have been urged to contact 999 or 101 if the man is spotted. Police have also pleaded that nobody approaches him as he is deemed dangerous and a flight risk.
The public has a strange way of dealing with worrying events
In true humorous style, the public trolled the matter with some rather ridiculous remarks. One asked if the authorities have searched Mike Tyson’s house. He did after all infamously bite off a chunk of Evander Holyfield’s ear in a boxing match in June of 1997. Another person said: ‘He was right ear a minute ago’, while one jokester said: ‘We have a cat like that round me, he’s always in a scuffle, one day he got too big for his boots. But that’s neither ear nor there.‘ A third person said: ‘This appeal will just fall on the deaf ear(s). Once caught, give him an earful.‘ You can follow the case here.
