Colleen Le is the 30-year-old woman who posted her videos on TikTok. The series of clips explains her story. According to Colleen, she started dating her ex five years ago. He had chronic kidney disease and was on dialysis since the young age of 17. Colleen then decided that she wanted to save his life, so decided to get herself tested to see if she could.

After The Kidney Donation
Colleen says that seven months after having kidney surgery, her then-boyfriend went on a trip to Vegas with his church group. Even though it was a bachelor party, she had no issue with him leaving and trusted him. However, he returned home and told her that he had in fact cheated on her.
“A lot of arguments later … I eventually forgave him and gave him a second chance.”

Shockingly enough, three months after the cheating, he decided to break it off with her. He even went as far as to tell Colleen that if they were meant for one another, God would bring them back together in the end. Next, he blocked her on all social media accounts, refused to answer her calls and text messages, this went on for months. Her ex even accused her of trying to look good by donating her kidney to him.
Colleen also received “a word of advice” from her ex-boyfriend’s “homie” during her graduation party, saying “not everyone needs to know that [you] gave him your f***ing kidney n y’all broke up”.

After posting her video, it quickly went viral with millions of views. Tons of people online commented on her clips to show their support and to lift her spirits:
One user wrote “Don’t worry girl he literally cannot live without you and he has to deal with that for the rest of his life.” and another said: “Whatever scar it left him will be a constant reminder forever. I’m sorry this is AWFUL.”
Pointing out what a massive thing she had done, another commenter said: “I wonder if he understands the seriousness of donating a kidney,” another added. “You literally sacrificed your life for someone. You are a beautiful soul!”
