Mark Zuckerberg And Elon Musk Finally Agree To Fight Each Other In A Cage

In a telephonic interview with Dana White, the CEO of UFC, the current and former CEOs of two of the largest social media companies- Meta and Twitter respectively- have decided to settle their differences through a cage fight. Just the day before, Elon Musk had been responding to the rumors that Facebook was trying to create a platform like Twitter. He commented, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane’. Was worried there for a moment.” Then a user on Twitter responded that Mark Zuckerberg has actual training in the martial arts, to which Musk responded, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.

The World Would Pay To See Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg Battle it Out In A Cage Fight

While this was still a big jest up till then, Mark Zuckerberg decided to match the ante, as he posted on Instagram asking for Musk to send him the location for the match. Notably, the former CEO of Meta has won quite a few medals in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Musk responded to it with “if this is for real, I will do it.

As it turns out, Mark is pretty serious about this- so this might not be an event that Elon would be able to get out of by just paying him out. But for the fans of both the CEOs, this could be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Although Musk did reply to Alex Heath and named the Vegas Octagon as his preferred venue for this fight, he also made it quite clear that there were a lot of doubts regarding his participation. He acknowledged that he was definitely not in the best shape of his life.

In another tweet, the current CEO of Twitter mentioned, “I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids and throwing them in the air. I have this great move that I call The Walrus, where I just lie on top of my opponent and do nothing.” But it would be amiss to not mention that Musk has been in his own fair share of fights. Growing up in South Africa, Musk talked about how he had been in street fights. In his interview with the Full Send podcast, Musk said, “I’ve been in real hard-core street fights. I got beaten up real badly in a few of them, actually.” Yet, we can’t speak with certainty that this would be enough to see Mark Zuckerberg off.

But It Will Be A One-Sided Match, For Musk Might Not Be A Match For Zuckerberg

The feud between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has been in the background ever since Musk joined Twitter as CEO. For quite some time now, Musk has been taunting the former CEO of Meta with tweets like “Zuck my —.” On the other hand, Chris Cox, the chief product officer of Meta stated during an internal all-hands meeting that the company thought creators wanted a version of Twitter that was sanely run. In his recent podcast interview with Lex Fridman, Zuckerberg stated, “I’ve always thought that Twitter should have a billion people using it.”

When it comes to tech billionaire CEOs fighting, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are as different individuals as one can find. Musk will always have the upper hand when it comes to sheer mass. But the former CEO of Meta has quite a bit of training in Martial arts. He is currently an aspiring MMA fighter who has been winning Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. He also completed the recent Murph challenge workout in just under 40 minutes. Just last month, Mark won gold and silver at his very first Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament that had taken place in Redwood City, California.

Mark Zuckerberg had taken up an interest in the sport in the early months of the pandemic, and he posted this emphatic win on Instagram, saying, “Competed in my first jiu-jitsu tournament and won some medals for the Guerilla Jiu Jitsu team.” Zuckerberg’s coach, Khai Wu, congratulated him, “Yesterday getting to see Zuck compete was pretty epic. No match was easy and everything was earned. It was an honor to be able to help coach and offer any advice I could.” Look out, Musk!
