TikTok Influencer Asks Followers For Money After She ‘Accidentally’ Bought A $100,000 Couch

TikTok influencers may have a lot of clout on the Internet, but it doesn’t stop a lot of them from stooping low. Recently, one such influencer went live on TikTok to cry because she had accidentally bought a sofa worth $100,000. In order to pay for it, she wanted donations from her fans. Of course, she would rather her fans pay for it- than return it. The influencer, Quenlin Blackwell, has close to 8 million followers on the social media platform.

She posted a video where she told her fans that she had jokingly put in her card details for an online bid on a sofa. But as it turns out, she was getting charged for it in the end. The 21-year-old further asked her followers to start donating money so that she would be able to afford this highly expensive couch.

TikTok Influencer Wants Donations From Fans To Pay For Expensive Couch

In the video, the TikTok influencer stated, “I almost crashed my car when I saw it. If you have a million dollars could you please donate? If you have a billion dollars can you let me borrow some please?” Needless to say, her fans weren’t really buying the whole shtick. Some of them didn’t understand her need to put in her card details if she never really wanted to purchase a sofa anyway. One comment on TikTok, which garnered close to 52,000 likes stated, “Girl who puts in card info as a JOKE. ILY BUT WHY PUT YOUR INFO IN?

Next Monday, the TikTok Influencer put up a new video on TikTok, which she captioned, “They won’t give me a refund on the couch.” And this is why she was planning on setting up an OnlyFans account. She wanted her fans to know that it wasn’t of her own accord- but due to the extenuating circumstances around it. “I don’t want to, but I’m going to have to.” She also claimed that she needed money for some dental work, as well as fixing her car. In the video, Quenlin also maintained, “I don’t want to do a job. I’m about to throw up because I know they didn’t refund me.”

And soon, it did look like her decision to start an OnlyFans saw the light of day, as she added a link to it on her Instagram. Some of the commenters under the second TikTok stated that they still didn’t believe this story to be true. Some commenters wrote, “You been taking acting classes huh”, while others wrote, “She gotta be prankin us.” Others simply wanted this TikTok celeb to ask her rich friends- out of whom one would have certainly paid the money if they were actually her friends.
