A worker at Consorcio Industrial de Alimentos in Chile who was paid over $170,000 for a month’s work has disappeared. The employee’s usual salary equated to approximately $580 monthly, but the company paid out 300 times that amount.
Although he initially brought up this matter with his manager, later on, he withdrew the money and escaped. The employer tried to contact the man, but it was not to be. Later, they received contact from the lawyers of the employee who announced that he quit. Following this, the company went ahead and filed a lawsuit against him.

According to Diario Financiero, the worker- who was employed as a dispatch assistant received a whopping $165,398,851 Chilean pesos (CLP) rather than receiving his usual $500,000 CLP. After speaking to the manager, he received instructions to go to the human resources department. They asked him to go to the bank to initiate the return of the excess money. But while he did promise to go to the bank the next day, he didn’t. Diario Financiero reported that he hadn’t reported the money and continuously ignored the calls from the company.
