Did you think you heard the last of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell? Think again. Recently the defamed socialite and former Epstein girlfriend has been speaking out about the late sex offender’s death. Maxwell believes that Epstein’s abuse of minors was allowed to continue after he was caught and that he was killed because of this. She revealed all of this in a recent interview from prison.

Ghislaine Maxwell Believes That Jeffrey Epstein Was Murdered

Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite, is accused of facilitating Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of multiple minor girls and sex trafficking for over a decade. She was arrested on July 2, 2020, after which a judge convicted her of charges related to her role in helping Epstein carry out his sex abuse ring. The former US financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex crimes involving several underage girls, died in prison while serving 20 years. In a recent interview from her prison cell, Ghislaine Maxwell said that she believes he was murdered, not that he took his own life. This is all due to his involvement in pedophile activity. In her statement released on Monday, she said that she believed Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself and that his death could have been prevented if authorities had taken appropriate action against him sooner. Her First Interview Since Her Conviction

Since she read out an apology statement at her trial, we haven’t heard much from Ghislaine Maxwell. Following her sentencing of 20 years in prison for her crimes, she has given her first interview since being placed behind bars. In the interview, she said that Epstein had been trafficking young girls and molesting them as far back as the summer following her involvement with him. She also admitted to luring young girls for his sexual abuse and said she was complicit in his crimes against these young women.

On August 10, 2019, prison guards found the disgraced financier dead in his US prison cell while awaiting trial. He was up on charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy to molest dozens of underage girls. His death sparked an international outcry from victims’ rights groups and abuse victims. These people were seeking justice after more than two decades of abuse by Epstein, which they considered he had “escaped” by taking his own life. Ghislaine Maxwell’s statement comes shortly after a series of reports revealed a more detailed account of Epstein’s infamous massage rooms where he allegedly abused countless young girls over the years.

“No, he didn’t. I don’t believe he did,” Maxwell said in the interview. “I believe that he was murdered. Well shocked, I wondered: How did it happen? Because as far as I was concerned, he was going to, I was sure he was going to appeal.”

Ghislaine Maxwell Admits Wrongdoing

For a long time, Maxwell maintained her innocence in relation to Epstein’s crimes. Now, more than three years after guards found him dead in his cell, she has spoken out about his death. She believes that her former partner Jeffrey Epstein was murdered, most likely by people who wished him dead because he abused minors. Many believe that Epstein could have taken his own life, as he was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial for child sex trafficking charges.

However, Ghislaine Maxwell does not believe this and instead believes someone else took her former partner’s life. She says this could also be because he had too much knowledge about the other powerful people involved in the case. (2)

A Wish For Things To Be Different

In her interview, Maxwell also spoke about Epstein, her relationship with the man, and her friendship with the other high-profile men involved in the whole business. In regards to Epstein, she stated that she wished that she had never met him. If she could go back in time, she wished she had stayed in England and remained in banking.

In regards to the other high-profile people mentioned in the case, such as Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, and Former President Nixon, she says many of them were close personal friends of hers. She explained that she feels bad that their reputations and lives are being tarnished because of their association with Epstein. As for the infamous photo of Prince Andrew with his hands around the waist of one of the victims who has since spoken out, she believes it to be false.

While she is apparently still attempting to appeal for a shorter sentence, as of right now, Ghislaine Maxwell will still be behind bars at least until 2040. Though she may feel this is too long, the many victims all feel that it should be much longer. At the very least, it is clear that she is certainly regretting many of the choices she made all those years ago.
